Women Business Enterprise

Letter from the desk of Frances Senory

This year is one of milestones. Sencommunications® stands on the eve of our twentieth anniversary and has recently been recertified as a nationally recognized Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). In light of these momentous achievements, it is important to recognize the steps we have taken to get here.

Change is inevitable, and in our nearly 20 years of business we have learned that you must reinvent yourself often to stay competitive and relevant in today’s business world. However, it is and will continue to be our mission to offer you the latest technologies at the most affordable prices. And while the market will continually change, what remains constant are our commitments to place you, the customer, first and to provide outstanding products and service.

The Sencomm family prides itself on these commitments and its ability to fulfill them in order to meet your needs. As we celebrate our twentieth anniversary beginning in February 2009, thankful for every customer we’ve met along the way, the impact of such dedication becomes abundantly clear. Additionally, Sencomm’s recertification as a Women’s Business Enterprise offers an opportunity to reflect on our status as a woman-owned business and all that it represents.

One component of this is diversity. Diversity is what keeps a company fresh and vital, and we practice this in the products we carry, the employees we hire and the businesses we reach out to. Embracing diversity allows us to fulfill our promise to promote better communication throughout the community. Consequently, I look forward to developing Sencomm’s relationship with you, making it as strong as the values we represent. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our ever-expanding and diverse family.

Sincerely,

Fran Senory - President
Sencommunications®, Inc.

What is the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council?

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), founded in 1997, is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. It also is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. WBENC works to foster diversity in the world of commerce with programs and policies designed to expand opportunities and eliminate barriers in the marketplace for women business owners. WBENC works with representatives of corporations to encourage the utilization and expansion of supplier/vendor diversity programs.

Dedicated to enhancing opportunities for women's business enterprises, WBENC works in partnership with women's business organizations located throughout the country to provide a national standard of certification for women-owned businesses. The organization also provides its corporate members and certified women's business enterprises (WBEs) with access to a range of B2B sourcing tools including, an Internet database – WBENCLink – that contains information on certified women's businesses for purchasing managers nationwide. WBENC is a resource for the more than 700 US companies and government agencies that rely on the WBENC certification as an integral part of their supplier diversity programs.
